And the name is….
Lydia Gracia Lee
Help us name our daughter!
We had an ultrasound last week. We were told it looks like we have a healthy little girl due the end of October. Joy and I are trying to decide on a name — we’ve narrowed it down to two choices (listed in alphabetical order):
- Gracia Marie
- Lydia Marie
Yes, the middle name is chosen — has been since Leilani was born before Joy and I were married.
So, you can help us choose the first name. We’re conducting a poll. We’ll still make the final decision, but we’re interested in which one you like better. Please go to Baby Zone and take the poll. If you’d like to leave a comment below as to why you like your choice, please feel free!
14 Years and counting
Joy and I celebrated our 14th wedding anniversary yesterday. A friend from the church had given us a gift certificate to a Mexican restaraunt in town, and a “coupon” for free baby-sitting! So, Joy and I got our annual evening out without kids! We love our children, but it was nice to have a couple of hours to ourselves!
Busy!
I know it’s been awhile since I’ve posted on my blog, but we’ve been busy. During the month of April, I conducted a prophecy series in Federalsburg, Maryland. One person will be baptized on 14 June at the Federalsburg Seventh-day Adventist Church.
I had the privilege of baptizing Benjamin on Friday night, 2 May 2008. It was good to see everybody who came out. My Dad had a short talk on baptism and had a special prayer for Benjamin. Benjamin’s other grandfather read one of the Bible texts. Leilani sang. My mother-in-law played the piano. Members from all three of my churches attended. It was a really good day.
My next prophecy series is scheduled for September-October.
Joy hasn’t been feeling well. We think she’s finally over the nausea, but now she has a head cold or allergies and is plain miserable!
Sabbath (17 May) we had outdoor church at the Milburn Landing area of the Pocomoke River State Park. I’ll try to post pictures on Flickr this week.
Benjamin to Be Baptized
Benjamin has made the decision to be baptized. The service will be Friday, 2 May 2008 at 7:00 p.m. in the Park Seventh-day Adventist Church in Salisbury, Maryland.
